Our background story
Our story started in 2005 and we have been known as K&K Polishing Limited.
In February, 2020 we have transitioned the existing company into a new business entity and moving forward our brand name is L&K Polishing Limited.
As the cost-effectiveness is one of the crucial factors in winning a customer within our trade, we endeavour to stay competitive and be aware of who our competitors are and be aware of their pricing strategies.
Our capability to attract and retain talented people is critical to our ongoing performance. Each of our craftsmen can deliver numerous works within the trades offered by us. This gives us a competitive advantage to deliver various types of work with one team, resulting in flexibility, reduced costs and time for completing the project.
We continue to implement our succession plans in place for key management. We also regularly measure our employee engagement levels and make sure managers have the tools to take action on any concerns raised.
We engage with our suppliers on their sustainability targets and look to embed our values and beliefs into all our relationships.
We regularly review contract performance with our clients, both at mobilisation and throughout the life of the contract.
We are L&K Polishing and we are here for you every step of the way by providing you with high standards of services, after care and maintenance support.
Utilisation of traditional and modern methods.
Optimisation of necessary inputs and applying them accordingly, taking into consideration the primary constraints: scope, time, quality and budget.
Continuous measurement of L&K Polishing services with the established standards to obtain the desired results.
We engage reputable professionals who are masters of their particular trade. We continuously upgrade our operatives’ trade skills through established training schemes.
We have a long-term relationship with numerous suppliers of quality materials that have been tried and tested over a long period of time that hold good levels of the numerous products that we use.
Every project is unique in terms of technicalities and resources which makes each requirement to be managed with a unique approach. We like to meet you and your key team members ideally onsite where possible so that we can get a better understanding of your project needs.
Once the tender is successful and confirmed we meet the client and discuss the management structure, lead times and prepare project-specific RAMS and COSHH Assessments.
Prior to work, we take samples to match the colour of the surfaces that are going to be repaired.
Once we start the project, we mark up all repairs and take “before” photograph with a numbered tag and “after” photograph to produce the completed snag report for the client.
When the project is entirely completed the final accounts and customer satisfaction forms are issued to the contract manager.
